Terms of Service
Effective date: 18 April 2026
1. Who we are
Scayled (“Scayled”, “we”, “us”) provides an online platform that helps commercial real-estate brokers discover and contact businesses near a listed property. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who can use Scayled
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
3. Accounts
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that appear compromised or misused.
4. What you can and can’t do with the data
Scayled surfaces contact information already published or available via third-party enrichment sources. You may use it to make in-scope commercial outreach — specifically, to contact decision-makers about listings you’re currently representing.
You may not:
- Resell, share, or publish the contact data to anyone outside your own brokerage.
- Use Scayled for bulk unsolicited marketing unrelated to a specific property.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the platform.
- Upload content you don’t have the rights to, or misrepresent your identity in outreach.
- Use the service in a way that violates applicable anti-spam, data-protection, or telecommunications laws (including CAN-SPAM, CASL, the GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act, and the New Zealand Privacy Act).
5. Credits & billing
Scayled is sold on a credit basis. Each scan or reveal consumes credits at the rate listed on the pricing page. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and unused monthly credits do not roll over unless explicitly stated.
Prices are shown in the currency selected on the landing page (USD, AUD or NZD) and exclude applicable taxes. If your jurisdiction requires us to add tax, we’ll add it at checkout.
6. Refunds
Scans run on usage, so once credits are consumed we can’t refund them. If something genuinely goes wrong on our side — a scan never completed, a verified contact turned out to be demonstrably wrong, a charge was duplicated — email hello@scayled.comand we’ll sort it out on a case-by-case basis.
7. Availability
We aim for the product to be available 24/7 but don’t guarantee it. Downtime, third-party data-provider outages, or scheduled maintenance may interrupt service from time to time. We’ll give reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.
8. Intellectual property
The Scayled platform, branding, and underlying code belong to us. You own the lists, scans, and CRM entries you build inside Scayled from your listings. The underlying public / third-party contact data is not exclusively owned by either party — treat it as data you’re licensed to use subject to Section 4.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, owe unpaid fees, or pose a legal/security risk. On termination, we’ll retain billing records as required by law and delete operational data per our Privacy Policy.
10. Warranties & liability
Scayled is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee that every contact will be reachable, every email deliverable, or every lead relevant — brokerage still needs human judgment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We’re not liable for lost profits, lost deals, or other indirect damages.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If the changes are material, we’ll email you or show a notice in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Scayled after that means you accept the update.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of your billing address (United States, Australia, or New Zealand). Disputes are handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
